Description
The Monarch's Way footpath heading west from Steyning Bowl and passing north of the ancient Iron Age hill fort of Cissbury Ring (far left on the horizon). The Monarch's Way is a 615 mile long distance footpath which follows the assumed escape of King Charles II from Worcester via Bristol, Yeovil and then to Brighton in East Sussex. This part lies in the South Downs National Park, West Sussex, southern England.
